Loddlenaut is heading to Switch and with a new update too

Get ready to dive back into the underwater world of Loddlenaut! This charming and cozy game is making its way to the Nintendo Switch and is also receiving a significant update for PC players. The new Goddles update introduces a mysterious secret cave biome inhabited by three enigmatic Goddles. Players will also be able to embark on a gardening adventure, collecting seedlings, growing their own flora, and increasing the biome’s resistance to pollution. A new Global Pollution Tracker will help you keep track of your progress in cleaning up the ocean. The Loddlenaut Switch release and the Goddles update are both scheduled for September 19th. Europa release date announced

Prepare for an epic adventure on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. This action-adventure game casts you as an android exploring a lush paradise, filled with ruins and ancient mysteries. Players will run, glide, and fly through the breathtaking landscapes, unraveling the story of the last humans and discovering the secrets of Europa. This immersive exploration experience is coming to Steam on October 11th. Find out more here!

Coffee Talk Tokyo announced

Fans of the beloved coffee shop sim, Coffee Talk, can look forward to a new installment set in the bustling city of Tokyo. Coffee Talk Tokyo introduces a fresh lineup of characters and stories, allowing players to connect with a diverse cast of individuals over steaming cups of coffee. The game features a relaxing lo-fi soundtrack, the ability to create unique latte art designs, and a social network to explore. Coffee Talk Tokyo is set to be another delightful chapter in the popular series, though the release date has yet to be announced. Find out more here.

Star Rupture drops game play trailer

Get a glimpse of the intense action and survival gameplay in Star Rupture. This first-person open-world base builder game challenges players to explore a deadly planet, mine resources, and build their own city. With advanced combat, a complex industrial system, and hordes of alien monsters to fight, Star Rupture is a promising addition to the survival crafting genre. Find out more here

Cuisineer heading to consoles and more content on the way

The roguelike cooking sim game Cuisineer has announced it’s heading to consoles. Initially released back in November 2023, the game sees you explore a roguelike world to collect ingredients and bring them back to your restaurant to serve to your customers. The console release will be accompanied by a new update to the game, with the devs teasing new weapons, festivals, a wardrobe feature, and more tasty inclusions too. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 gives us a first look into the gameplay

Explore a fantastical world and battle against a sinister villain in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This story-rich exploration game features turn-based combat with real-time strategy elements, allowing for immersive and strategic gameplay. Players will embark on a quest to stop the Paintress from painting the deaths of everyone aged 33. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for wishlist on Steam. Check it out here

AGDA’s have announced their finalists

The Australian Game Developer Awards have released the finalists for the 2024 awards. With 21 games nominated across 12 categories, the line up has some truly incredible games. Some notable mentions for the indies that made the list include CONSCRIPT, with six nominations, Diets and Dieties with four nominations, Crab God picking up a nomination for Excellence in Impact and Music, Wild Bastards picking up noms for Excellence in Gameplay and Art, and Capes picking up nominations for Excellence in Gameplay and Narrative.This is such a great event to highlight some incredible Aussie developed games, and we can’t wait to see who takes out the top prize in October. Find out more here

On Your Tail announces release date

The sleuthy, story driven life sim, On Your Tail, has just announced it’s release date. Set in a relaxing seaside town, you’ll embark on a getaway you’ll never forget as you attempt to relax, engaging in some relaxing holiday activities, while also getting to the bottom of some of the puzzling local mysteries. This looks set to be an interesting mix of cozy and detective, and it’s heading to Steam November 21st. Check it out here!

Fabledom is coming to consoles

Build your own fairytale kingdom in Fabledom, a cozy city builder game. As the ruler of your land, you’ll guide your Fablings, recruit a champion, and build relationships with neighboring kingdoms. The game features a charming storybook aesthetic, allowing players to create a personalized kingdom filled with magic and wonder. Fabledom is set to launch on Switch, PS5, and Xbox on September 9th. Parcel Corps delayed

The high-action delivery game, Parcel Corps, has been delayed. Originally scheduled for release on September 3rd, the developers announced that they need additional time to polish the game. While a new release date has not been confirmed, Parcel Corps is still expected to launch sometime in 2024. Read more here.

Against the Storm launching new DLC

Expand your city-building experience in Against the Storm with the new Keepers of the Stone DLC. This DLC introduces a new species, the Frog, known for their skill in stone masonry and love of water. Players will also explore the beautiful but dangerous coastal groves, which feature submerged settlements and hidden treasures. The DLC is scheduled for release on September 26th. Check it out here.

Last update for Green Hell coming Sept 3rd

The popular survival game, Green Hell, is receiving its final content update. The Decorations update introduces a variety of new decorative items to customize your base, including paintings, workbench decorations, armor stands, torch stands, and more. This update marks the end of active development for Green Hell, but the game will continue to receive support from the development team. The Decorations update is available on September 3rd. CopyCat have announced their release date

Experience the world through the eyes of a stray cat in CopyCat, a heartwarming narrative game. Players will follow the journey of a newly adopted cat as it navigates its new home and forms a bond with its human companion. However, the cat’s peaceful life is threatened by the arrival of a lookalike feline, leading to a heartwarming and thought-provoking story.
