Wholesome Games Celebration Kicks off this week!

Wholesome games celebration is this week and will feature a ton of announcements, demos, and discounts. As part of the celebration we’ll be seeing some new releases like Gourdlets, Love, Ghostie, and Just Crow Things, as well as demos from some upcoming games, and some exciting announcements too! The event will be hosted on Steam, and runs from August 15th to the 21st. Check it out on Steam here.

Bokura: Planet announced

A new game has been announced in the Bokura series. Bokura: Planet sees you take on a new co-op adventure, this time as crew of a space exploration ship. In the same style as the original Bokura game, you and you’re partner will both see different things on your screen, and you’ll need to work together to navigate a treacherous world. This looks set to be a great new addition to the series and is set to release in early 2025. Check it out here

Sunset Hills Announces release date

Explore a gorgeous world in the point and click adventure game Sunset Hills. This atmospheric adventure combines puzzle solving with a story full of heart, as you reunite with some of your comrades from the war. This beautiful game has just announced it’s release date, and it’s just around the corner. Sunset Hills is dropping August 20th. Wishlist the game here

New psychological horror adventure announced

A new psychological horror adventure game has been announced, and this one take an interesting spin on paranormal investigation. The Occultist sees you step into the shoes of Alan Rebels as he sets out on his most terrifying investigation yet. Utilising a mystic pendulum, the gameplay combines survival horror with first person action, in what looks set to be a spine tingling experience.

Nocturnals Announces release date

Explore a post apocalyptic world and navigate forming relationships while dealing with some pretty creepy monsters in Nocturnals. This point and click, story driven game combines horror with wholesome, giving you a really heartfelt story that mixes themes of loneliness, friendship, and trust. This is a game with a really beautiful story, and it’s just announced it’s release date. Nocturnals will be available September 13th. Wishlist it here

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions give details on next major update

The cozy co-working game, Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, has dropped new details about the game’s next major update. This wholesome game sets you up with the perfect co-working environment, complete with customisation options, cozy lofi soundtracks, task tracking functions, and adorable spirit companions, and there’s still more coming for the game. The next major update sees the introduction of a new spirit, named APE-bit and a new activity: gaming. Alongside this there’s some more customisation options, allowing some different sections of the room to be customised, and there’s some more new decor items being added too. They’ve teased even more is coming, and there’s not too much longer to wait, because this update will be dropping August 26th. Read more here

Caravan Sandwitch drop new trailer with release window

In this adventure game, you’ll explore a Sci-fi Provence like world, driven by the need to find your sister. Equipped with you van and some essential tools, you’ll navigate accross some pretty interesting landscapes, meeting new people, helping them with their tasks, and discovering clues about your sister. Caravan Sandwitch has just dropped a new trailer for the game and confirmed it’s release window. This wholesome game, will be dropping in September. Wishlist it here

I am Future drop relationship update

The cozy apocolypse survival game, I am Future, has just dropped it’s latest major update, and this one adds a much anticipated mechanic to the game. The Relationship update is the latest update for this early access game, and it’s a pretty big one. Adding a new rooftop to explore, we’ll get to uncover the next chapter of the storyline, which leads into the addition of relationships. You’ll be able to develop relationships with others on the rooftop, giving them gifts, playing mini games and completing daily tasks to build them up. This is a much anticipated addition, and it’s live now, so definitely check out this cozy game for some stress-free survival goodness. Check it out here!

Wild Indigo Ranch announce 1.0 release date

Previously known as Don’t Die in the West, the newly branded Wild Indigo Ranch has announced it’s heading to 1.0. This cozy game sees you take on cowboy life, starting out on the prairie, exploring the frontier, and building the finest ranch in the west. After launching in early access last year, the game is heading to 1.0, with the full release seeing a new biome added, more quests and some conclusions to the story, some new characters, fast travel, and so much more. With co-op functionality, this is a great cozy cowboy choice and 1.0 is coming September 18th. Check it out here

Lake adds new purrfect update

The cozy mail delivering sim, Lake, has just dropped a new update for the game, and this one is purrfect for cat lovers. To celebrate International Cat Day, the devs have added a new feature to the game, you can now pat the cats. With different cats, each with different personalities, lounging around Mildred’s home, you’ll need to work out how to gain their trust, and then give them all the love.
