Steam Next Fest kicks off this week

Steam Next Fest is kicking off once again this week, giving us a week stacked full of amazing demos. This is a fantastic opportunity to try some of the games you’ve had your eye on before they release, and there is so many incredible games on show. We’ll be putting together a video full of some recommendations, so keep an eye out for that later this week. Find out more here

Tavern Keeper delayed until 2025

The Tavern Keeping sim set in a fantasy world, Tavern Keeper, has announced it will be delaying the release. Originally set for a November release, the devs have stated that they’ll be pushing back the release to ensure they can take on board player feedback from the demo and make sure it’s polished for release. Tavern Keeper will now be heading to our screens in 2025. Find out more here!

Ascending inferno announce launch date

The epic precision platformer where you kick your way out of hell, Ascending Inferno, have announced their release date. Loosely based around Dante’s inferno, the game sees you navigate some difficult challenges in hell, alongside your brother, who happens to have manifested in hell as a soccer ball. We were able to check this one out at PAX Aus and it’s already looking incredible, and it will be heading to steam October 28th! Find out more here.

Wanderstop delayed until 2025

The cozy narrative game about change and tea, Wanderstop, has announced they’ll be delaying the launch of the game. The devs stated that good tea takes time to properly brew, and in order for the game to fully bloom, it needs a bit more time. Wanderstop will now be releasing in early 2025! Find out more here

Dredge heading to mobile and mac

The fishing adventure game with a sinister twist, Dredge, has announced it’s heading to Mac and to mobiles later this year. The highly popular game sees you explore a collection of remote isles, fishing in the surrounding depts to see what lies below. Combined with a side of dark mystery, this one will soon be able to be played by a larger audience, with the base game and all expansions heading to MAC, iOS and Android December 18th. Amber Isle switch release delayed

The dino flavoured shop keeping sim Amber Isle has announced a delay to it’s Nintendo Switch release. Originally set for a late October release, the devs have stated some console specific issues as the cause for the delay. Amber Isle is already out on Steam, and will now be coming out on November 21st for Switch. Check out our review here

A Little to the Left coming to IOS

The cozy game about tidying up, A Little to the Left, has made it’s way to mobiles, releasing on iOS this week. With full touch compatibility to scratch that organizational itch, and a zoom function for precision tidying, you can get your tidying fix on iPhone and iPad now. Check it out here

Supurr Cat Cafe announce release date

The cozy cooking sim where you stack towering sandwiches with the help of cute cat friends, Supurr Cat Cafe: Sandwich Rush, has announced it’s release date. This cute game combines adorable cat friends with a cafe sim, and you’ll need to build your cafe, serve your customers, and befriend new cats to unlock upgrades for your cafe too. This one looks set to be a great kitty themed cooking sim, and it’s dropping November 11th! Check it out here

Albatroz drops gameplay trailer

The backpacking adventure RPG, Albatroz, has released a new trailer for the game, this one focusing on the gameplay. The new trailer showcases the intense challenges players can expect like navigating steep slopes, scaling towering peaks, and some intense river crossings, in what looks set to be a truly invigorating adventure game. Albatroz is set for a November 1st release, and you can wishlist it right now on Steam. Check it out here

  • Neva: an emotional 2d platformer, where you and your bonded wolf cub search for a new home in a crumbling world drops October 15th
  • Pancake Patrol: a pancake fueled roguelike, where you defeat monsters with food based weaponry drops October 16th
  • Arsene Lupin – Once a Thief: a point and click adventure where you immerse yourself in Maurice Leblanc’s famous tails about art thievery drops October 17th
  • Citadelum: a city builder game where you build your own ancient Roman empire drops October 17th
