Studio Waterzooi, known for the serene puzzle game Please, Touch the Artwork, takes a darker turn with Please, Watch the Artwork, announced during the Day of the Devs showcase.
This upcoming title is a psychological horror experience where you play as a nightwatch at the Museum of Animated Modern Art (MaMA). Your job is to monitor security camera feeds and report any changes in the paintings. However, as the night progresses, the line between reality and illusion blurs, leading to feelings of paranoia, loneliness, and alienation.
The game draws inspiration from the works of American painter Edward Hopper, enhancing its eerie atmosphere, and looks set to be an eerie addition the the Please Watch series.
