The latest update for the epic open world survival crafter game Enshrouded has dropped, and this one is adds so much to the game.
The Souls of the Frozen Frontier update adds a new area to explore, the Albaneve Summits, a stunning mountain region packed with new things to discover.
Alongside the new area, players are getting some new townsfolk to unlock, adding more quests and more crafting functionality. Townsfolk will now wander around, sleep in beds at night, and engage with players too, and can be placed in secondary bases, allowing you to craft away from the main settlement.
New additions to the game have come in an adorable form, with the addition of farm animals and pets. You can now tame non-hostile animals and bring them back to your home to produce resources, and there are also some new pets you can find and tame.
A dynamic weather system is being introduced, with the addition of snow, and rain, which can drain your body heat requiring specialized armor and equipment to navigate the coldest areas of the map. Gliding will also be affected by this as you’ll come up against air turbulence which can affect your flight paths.
This is a truly massive update to the game, and there’s never been a better time than now to head back to Embervale.
