We have finally got a release date for the Nintendo Switch 2, and the fantastic news is that it will be in our hands in just a couple of months.
Announced during the latest Nintendo Direct, the Switch 2 has been confirmed for a June release, with the Direct showcasing some of the new features and things to look forward to with the new console.
Now that’s not all we got in this showcase – they also announced a stack of games that will be heading to the Switch 2, both at launch, soon after, and sometime later this year. They announced a new Mario Kart game, and dropped details of bigger titles like Zelda, Super Maio Party, Kirby, Split Fiction, Hogwarts Legacy, Pokémon and more, will all be getting a Switch 2 release, but there were also some indie games snuck in – and there are some big ones to look forward to.
Here’s all the indie games we can expect on the Switch 2:
Enter the Gungeon 2 – just announced!
Hollow Knight: Silksong – no release date (yet)
DELTARUNE chapters 1-4 – confirmed for a June 5th release
We can definitely expect to see more games announced in the next few months, but if you’re considering a Switch 2 there’s definitely a decent amount of games that will release with it.
